Accelerated 7th Grade Spanish is lead during 87h Grade Spanish but is an independent class. Each student is given a workbook to complete along with reading their textbook Descubre 1. Each student is given time during class to complete together as a group. Assignments are done within a month to a month and a half time depending on the school calendar and or holiday's. Students are expected to use class time to work on packet. I am available during class.
Descubre 1 is the current work book used in some high school. Students are also encouraged to use StudySpanish.com to help practice and master verbs. Our students need to be able to work independently as well as with a small group and manage their time accordingly to do well in this class. They are allowed to work through some assignments along with the other students in Accelerated 7th Grade Spanish when assigned.
Comprehensive & Structured: Covers basic to intermediate Spanish, with progressive lessons in grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
Focus on Communication: Grammar is taught as a tool for communication, not just isolated rules, motivating learners.
Progressive Learning: Part of a series that builds knowledge from level to level, aiming for AP readiness.
What it Covers:
Greetings and basic introductions.
Describing family, friends, and hobbies.
Topics like home life, jobs, travel, and medicine.
